FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I like to get to know their business and what they are looking for in terms of bookkeeping. Do I possess an understanding of accounting/bookkeeping in their business field? That's always my first question and I believe the most important. Understanding the financial transactions for a particular industry can improve you and your customers business on many levels.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 10 years of bookkeeping experience set in a variety of business platforms. Wholesale, property management, and public accounting are a few of my past working environments. Over those years I've become proficient in Quickbooks, Peachtree, Yardi, Excel and payroll processing. I'm currently am a ProAdvisor for Quickbooks online and desktop.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in a data entry position in an accounting firm and was asked to help a current staff accountant. That employee left and I took over their accounts. I haven't looked back since!
