My husband and I hired him for our wedding a little over 6 years ago and he was phenomenal! He met with us ahead of time and encouraged us to choose any music that we would want to hear and tell him anything we did NOT want to hear, in order to make our day as personal as possible. We burned a couple of CDs for him that had most of our specific choices on it, and when the CDs didn't work with his equipment, he spent the time finding a lot of the the more obscure songs himself so that we could still hear OUR music. This really made a difference, as everyone was impressed with our selection and commented on the fact that most DJs just play the typical top 20 hip hop dance hits without even offering you a choice. We don't listen to that stuff, and knew that most folks at our wedding would rather not be a part of a giant club scene dance party, so the way that Tom worked with us was perfect. Everything he did showed that his main concern was not to "play a part" and be a huge "party" personality as some DJs try to do, but that we (and our guests) got to relax and enjoy ourselves. He's a great guy who happens to be a great DJ and I highly recommend him!

We had Tom Murphy DJ our wedding. Toms professionalism made the process leading up to the wedding very easy and his Personality added hugely to the to the fun had during the Wedding. Tom was a major asset in the success of the wedding and would recommend him to anybody.

Murphy Entertainment provided the music and entertainment for my son's 1st birthday part. He played fun games with the kids and great music. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a high quality professional DJ for their next event.

Murphy Entertainment was absolutely fabulous! We had a backyard wedding and just wanted a good time to be had by all. He did not disappoint. He had all the music we requested and was such a great help figuring out what songs to be played during the ceremony etc. The dance floor was packed the entire night!! I wouldn't recommend anyone else!!
