Introduction: Performing magic is not only my job, it’s my passion. I believe that this comes through whenever I’m performing. I love the fact that people of all ages enjoy what I do. I have performed at many corporate parties, wedding receptions, family reunions, and birthday parties. I do two types of shows. Walk around magic and a formal show. Both are family friendly and suitable for all types of audiences. Walk around magic is used whenever you have a group of people who will be mingling with each other such as a before dinner time or cocktail hour. This type of performance can last as long as you need it to. The formal show lasts roughly 40 minutes depending on audience participation. This show is best suited for situations where the audience can all be seated and watch the show. There is a per hour base rate for a walk around performance, a per show base rate for the formal show, plus travel fees.

Jim did the show with a weeks notice which was greatly appreciated and my age range was very different but kept them all entertained! Even the adults!!

WOW! I can't speak high enough of him. This was our first block party and I really didn't know how it would turn out. I was sure who to turn to for entertainment either, but I knew we had to have a magician. He was interactive with almost everyone there. Even after he left people were coming up to me saying, "Great pick on the magician," "loved that he came up to my husband and I and involved us in his trick," "he made one ball into two and three balls!" The kiddos had twinkles in their eyes when they told their story of the amazing magician who could do everything. He had everyone of all ages excited. There was a lil boy who didn't get a balloon made and Jim came out of nowhere and made this little child so happy. His whole face immediately lit up. That was when I knew I had to have him back for next year. Thank you so much for helping us make this block party a success.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not have a standard pricing system. My prices vary depending on how long I'm needed at the event and how far I have to travel to get there and back.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
There is usually a phone conversation so I know all the information I need for the event. I tend to show up a little early for the event so I have time to prepare for the show. After the show is when I like to get paid and find out if the person who hired me was satisfied with my job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Since I began performing professionally I have spent time traveling to different parts of the country so that I can further my knowledge of magic. I go to different conventions to learn from other professionals who make their living performing as I do.
