FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When there is a diversification of services such as we offer it is hard to have a standard pricing system. Our price per man hour is determined by the skill level and type of equipment being used. I stick by my proposed price and its very rare that there is a need to change it.....usually the only time it would change is if the customer decides they want some other work added to project(chang ordder). It is important that I see the site, possibly meet with the customer(depending on job), in order to give an accurate estimate/proposal
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For a simple maintenance service, I generally like to survey the site and work to be done, then submit a written estimate via email. For more complex, custom installations, it is necessary to meet with the customer and have them communicate to me what their wants and needs are. From there, I will give them a consultation and advise them of any other details or steps that might be taken. We then put together a detailed proposal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in the service industry for over 28 years and have owned businesses for 25 of those. I have also studied business management and been self taught through reading tech manuels, OJT, workshops, etc.
