FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Client sends information or comes into my office. We go over the credentials and establish who the person is. This is when the client is new to our office. Then we proceed to verified all paperwork and go thru them one by one. Anything missing we start making notes of it, this will give our client time to provide the information or reschedule another appointment. When taxes are done we asked if they are satisfied with the job and amount and we then file the taxes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in accounting with 38 years of experience in taxes. I work for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico as a Tax Auditor under the laws of the United States of America, Tax Laws of Internal Revenue Service, for four years. Worked as a Tax advisor for 6 years after leaving the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Since 1992 have been working in Philadelphia.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
This is what I studied for. Every year I make sure to update myself with the last tax laws. Every year is always something different and if you are not up to date your clientele suffers.
