Introduction: I am highly qualified and have a lot of clinical and client facing experience with many different types of people. I offer more than just personal training, becoming a client of mine includes: 1. One on one Private Training sessions 2. Nutritional Counseling: Using Myfitnesspal, you will log your food intake. I will analyze it and make suggestions for healthier options/alterations to your diet 3. Health Consulting: you will have my personal contact information, I will be available to answer questions/concerns about health and/or wellness whenever you have them. 4: (Optional) Scripted Workouts: Workouts for you to perform on the days we don't meet Health and Wellness has been a major aspect of my life in recent years. In 2014, I weighed 250 pounds. After 18 months of hard work, I weighed in at 191 lbs! I understand the power of proper exercise and good nutrition; and I know how good it feels to make a lifestyle change and to experience the positive results. I enjoying giving my clients the ability to achieve their personal wellness goals while building relationships with awesome people! My clients truly become friends of mine and it is a privilege to work with them week to week and watch them make the progress they deserve.

Joe has an evidence based view of fitness and nutrition and backs up his views and workouts (and nutritional counseling) with research from peer reviewed journals. This was important to me. His approach is very personalized and based on an individual assessment. It’s not one-size-fits-all and it’s very thorough. The workouts are designed to strengthen weak areas and build a strong foundation. Then he helps you build on the foundation. What I opted for was one personal session per week, which consists of one-on-one training, no other people present, in a well-equipped facility with ample parking. 3 prescriptive workouts per week focusing on my particular needs (and the workouts change as you progress), and nutritional counseling, which is quite detailed. He’s available via text/email as you have questions. Sessions are challenging but supportive, he’s not a drill-sergeant type but definitely pushes you. He has a long-term view of fitness and sets you up for long term success. It is an intelligent approach to what is often a confusing endeavor. One quality I look for in people I hire or businesses I use is excitement. If someone is excited about what they’re doing I think it’s a great indicator of their work ethic and dedication to their clients. I definitely see that Joe is excited to use his academic and clinical knowledge and experience to improve peoples’ lives.

Training with Joe has been an absolute pleasure. He is a true professional and a gentleman. Joe has an evidence-based approach to his personal training which I find extremely important. All of our sessions are tailored to my specific needs and goals. Joe will work at your pace and work around your schedule to make the sessions productive and valuable. He is always available via phone/text and will touch base with you on a weekly basis to set-up training sessions or even answer some questions about diet/exercise that you may have like myself. Joe is extremely flexible and easy going, which makes everything run efficiently and without added stress. What makes Joe stand out is his educational background. Joe is very well educated on human anatomy, nutrition, health and the science behind it all. He is punctual, dedicated, respectful, and compassionate. I highly recommend Joe, without reservation, and look forward to progressing in our weekly sessions.

I found Joe through a random search on Thumbtack. He had several great reviews, so I decided to try him. Joe was very responsive to my initial request to set up a consultation and to set up subsequent sessions. Joe is incredibly knowledgeable with his background in physical therapy. Joe designed a workout plan that I was targeted to my needs and showed results within just a few weeks. I would highly recommend Joe to anyone looking for a high quality personal trainer.
