Jessica Libor Studio

Introduction: I hold my Master of Fine Arts degree from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and also have studied at various Ateliers such as the Grand Central Atelier and the Florence Academy of Art. I am available to paint murals, custom commission pieces, live event painting, and private tutoring. I have a separate studio in Manayunk I teach out of. My rates are: $40/ per linear inch for oil portrait commission $20 per square foot for a acrylic mural. Half up front, other half at completion. My process for commissions is organic, I meet you and we talk about what you are looking for, get images, and I send over three sketches for you to choose from. From there, I do the painting. Most projects take under a month! For teaching, my rate is $50 per hour, which includes career coaching and portfolio development, goal setting, and specific instruction tailored towards the student. My approach includes copying masterworks, still life drawing and painting, and painting from photos and the imagination. I instruct from a classical, atelier-based perspective but am open to modern twists. However, my instruction is for the serious artist intent on building their skills. I accept students on a monthly basis, and am flexible for teaching times/dates. I love helping people achieve a specific vision for thier business or personal project. I am trained at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the Florence Academy of Art, in a realist tradition.
