- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The attorney fees in a Chapter 7 bankruptcy are really dependent on the complexity of the case. It's hard to give an estimate until we have really discussed the facts. I believe that I have extremely reasonable fees. If your only factor that you are looking at in choosing a bankruptcy attorney is price, you will probably find other attorneys that charge slightly less. I have 14 years of experience and you will always be dealing with me, not a paralegal or secretary. I can have you filed within a matter of days if need be.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Typically we set up a free consultation where we discuss the intricacies of your case and how the process works. When a client decides to proceed with filing we start the file, start getting the attorney fees paid and the documents collected. I draft the petition and email it to you with a link to your credit report and a link to your online credit counseling and financial management classes. We will then meet to make corrections to the petition and get ready for filing. We have a 341 Meeting of Creditors 5-6 weeks after filing and 60-90 days following that Meeting you should have your discharge.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I received my J.D. from University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of law in 2002. I have been practicing in the Arizona Bankruptcy Court for nearly 15 years.
