Introduction: Writing and editing are my passion! I remember the excitement I felt when I saw my first article in print in 1972. With over 2,000 articles and short stories published now, I still get that same feeling of joy. I would love to help you with your work.
My work has been published in many places including the following:
Baptist Bulletin, The Gospel Herald and The Sunday School Times, The Joe Niekro Foundation (non-profit), Union Gospel Press, and the University of Michigan Health Blogs. I'm an experienced writer and editor. I had my own magazine column for twenty years. I've published numerous fiction stories and feature articles. I complete two Sunday school curriculum assignments a year for a non-denominational publisher and also write for a non-profit.
I co-wrote a book with a missionary and edited a book for a pastor. I have edited fiction and nonfiction books, short stories, and articles.
Kimberlee Kiefer works with me. Her outstanding credentials include graduating Summa Cum Laude from Spring Arbor University in 2012 with departmental honors and a Bachelor of Science degree in professional writing. During her college years she was lead copy editor for the student run newspaper.
Since graduating Kimberlee has extensively edited six non-fiction published books, research reports and many articles. Her skills also include nonfiction articles, newsletters, essays, cover letters, resumes, and web content writing. She has been the ghost writer for one book and three research articles.
Together we have edited several books for Thumbtack clients.
Not only do I love writing myself, I am also passionate about helping others write. I taught creative writing on a high school level. It has been a fantastic feeling to help others get their work published.
We both enjoy working on Thumbtack. Every new client is an adventure. A new manuscript is like a Christmas gift! We Would love to help you edit your work, fiction or nonfiction.
