FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I the state of Texas you can expect to pay from $2.75 to $3.20 per watt DC for Solar. We are in the $2.75 watt range. We will never lose a job to price. I would rather take a project and make a little profit and have a customer for life that gives me referrals instead of not getting a customer at all because of price. Let us know what the number to beat is, and I will guarantee that I will beat the competitors price as long as they are using the same type of solar panels etc...
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step Infinity Solar takes is to determine if a solar electric system makes sense for your home or business is our assessment and analysis of your utility usage, and reviewing your current and historical energy seasonal patterns. After we have gained a satisfactory understanding of your current electrical demand, we will perform a free on-site property evaluation. During this evaluation, we will take measurements, assess possible shading issues and address any potential trouble spots that could diminish system production. If your on-site solar generation meets our standards, we will deliver a proposal which will outline the details of your solar electric system from our revolutionary solar software that accurately predicts the annual output of your system. The proposal will include estimated installed system cost (including estimated rebates and incentives), construction timeline, projected energy output and preliminary system design.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our Owner Paul McGrath is a NABCEP associate and has been through extensive training regarding solar. We have a master electrician on staff and our installers are all certified. There is only one person on the job site that is allowed to touch and configure AC electrical components and they hold a Journeyman's license.
