As a mid level manager moving into senior management, I was looking for additional coaching and guidance to build my confidence. As someone who struggles with anxiety and depression, my confidence had been knocked, in addition to suffering great personal loss in my life - so getting back on track professionally was key for me. I had to write this review as I can’t recommend Janice highly enough. Absolutely she is a highly professional and knowledgeable businesswoman, but of even more value is the fact that she understands life’s difficulties , and uses her experiences to make her a forthright, challenging, yet hugely empathetic coach. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Janice - she is an excellent coach, who took the time to explain elements of working in business that I wasn’t overly familiar with such as writing business documentation/plans, whilst also helping me to recognise my existing strengths, such as people management. I feel that Janice’s greatest quality as a coach is understanding someone’s skill set, and helping them to recognise their strengths so they can utilise them fully, whilst helping you develop new skills in a safe space. I found that I could talk very openly, share my ideas and concerns in a way that Janice didn’t just give me the answer to a problem, but encouraged me to find solutions for myself. I found that Janice challenged me to be better, saw things in me that I didn’t see myself and helped me develop new leadership skills and knowledge that have given me greater confidence to succeed in business. Janice has the ability to bring the best out in people, she is hard working, professional and during the time I worked with her found her to be one of the most inspirational leaders I have had the pleasure to work with/for. Janice is fantastic at tapping into the stregths you may not even realise you have, and nurchuring those skills. Janice provided ongoing mentoring and support to me at the start of my career. Her approach to coaching quickly helped me to develop as a professional specifically helping me learn how to influence senior management and get to the root cause of issues to make decisions/recommendations. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Customers booking a coaching program can arrange a payment plan. Programs paid in full at time of booking benefit from 10% discount.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every client gets a free initial consultation to find out about the process and get to know the coach before signing up for a coaching session. Clients determine how the coaching relationship will develop at this session and a Relationship Agreement is completed. Most coaching programs begin with client interviews and assessment activities to help the coach understand the client needs. Each program is customized to the needs of the client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Ph.D. in career development and have completed coaching specific courses.
