Introduction: Hello! My name is Ciara. I am a freelance makeup artist and licensed cosmetologist. I strive to make sure all of my clients are completely satisfied as well as providing high quality, time efficient work. I do provide lash application, strip and individuals, as well as some hair services that can be provided with an extra charge. I travel with my own kit, however if you have something of yours you would like me to use, such as a foundation, I’d be more than happy to use it on you. I use multiple known makeup brands such as MAC, Kat von D, Graftobian, NYX, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Smashbox and many more. I have much experience in the beauty industry and I am able to achieve multiple kinds of makeup looks, from neutral wedding makeup to glittery colorful festival makeup (just look in my portfolio)! My experience with Ciara was amazing. She did my wedding makeup along with my bridesmaids makeup and everyone came out looking great! I didn’t hire her over thumbtack but if I would have used thumbtack I still would have chose her. Great girl with a great personality. Would 100% recommend!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I consider myself a very reasonably priced professional. My prices do include high quality lashes (that can be reused if properly taken care of) and travel distance as well.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A consultation and communication is key. I love when my clients show me pictures of looks that they like or would like to achieve. I always start off with analyzing the face and skin and determining what skin type they have (dry, oily, combo, or normal) and from then on, I choose the right products for their skin types to ensure that their makeup stays on all day for their special night.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I previously was a sephora employee so I do have a lot of knowledge on beauty products and the latest trends. I am also a licensed cosmetologist so I know proper sanitation and how to apply cosmetics correctly.
