Introduction: Have you ever wanted to try partner dancing, but the steps are too complicated? Do you love to solo dance or be creative while you dance, so you think that partner dancing isn't for you? If so, you might want to try Fusion Partner Dancing! Fusion Dance is a revolutionary and fun new form of partner dancing that's on the rise in the Northwest. It's a way for both partners to draw upon their own personal movement backgrounds to create a beautiful and cohesive dance together. Don't have a movement background? That's ok too! In Fusion Dance, we drop the boring counting and stepping of other structured dances and focus on connection, creativity, and just having FUN! Because that what it's really about, isn't it?
The Fusion Inclusion Dance Project is on a mission to spread this amazing inclusive form of dance, so that everyone can enjoy the wonder of dancing with another person. When we teach our classes, we give basic frame and techniques to follow that allow people to dance together very quickly. We encourage creativity and there's no doing it wrong!
We enjoy watching people fall in love with the dance. It's such a varied and inclusive art form, and it's not just for dancers. I love seeing people discover that they CAN dance after all. We always aim to get our participants connecting and having fun above all.
