Tristan cleared numerous troublesome tree limbs in a complicated city setting, between homes, around power lines, etc.. Highly recommended.

Tristan cut down 2 very tall dead trees on our property. He was neat, professional and friendly. We were very happy with his work!

Usually "monkeying around" means someone isn't doing their job, but the amazing, technical climbing Tristan did to take care of widowmakers in our yard gave us great peace of mind--and it was a job we could not have done ourselves. Tristan also dropped two trees threatening our greenhouse, and was conscientious about where things landed and how he cleaned up. Plus, if you have young children it's very entertaining and educational for them to watch. It just so happens Tristan's great with kids too--a mensch all around!

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I will typically come out to the customer's home and examine the job. I will then provide an estimate based on the difficulty of the job, the danger involved, and the time it will take to complete. I can usually start work within one week of the estimate, if not sooner.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I attended Dartmouth College, where I studied history but gained a love and appreciation for the outdoors and rockclimbing. These passions led me to the tree business.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

After working as a high school history teacher for 5 years, I decided that I wanted to spend more time outside. Because I had expertise in climbing and rope work, the tree business was a natural fit for me.
