- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For new students I heavily emphasis the fundamentals. On day 1 we will start with how to stand, how to hold your hands, how to move your feet. Step by step building a solid foundation to build upon.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Started training Martial arts in 2000. Started training Mixed Martial arts in 2003 at the world famous Team Quest Fight Club. I graduated the year long instructors course from Team Quest in 2008 and traveled to Thailand immediately after graduation. I coached Brazilian Jiu jitsu for 2 years in Thailand to pay for my continued Muay Thai training. When I came back to Portland I became a coach at Teamquest. Coaching the Teen mma class (13-17) and all ages kickboxing class. Currently I teach group kickboxing classes at Rosecity FC and World class athletics.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Kids and Teens looking for confidence and self esteem, Women looking to defend themselves and get in shape, Police officers wanting a better understanding of hand to hand combat, and professional fighters
