James Shrieve

Introduction: I offer writing and editing services with over a year of experience at the UC Davis Academic Services Center helping 100+ students hone their skills as readers and writers, and with six years of experience as a writer and editor for international corporations, universities, literary magazines, news outlets, and individual clients. I can help craft, edit, and hone books, essays, portfolios, resumes, cover letters, application essays, stories, and just about everything in between. As a writer, my journalism has been published in the East Bay Monthly and a number of websites, and my fiction is soon to be published in MARY: A Journal of New Writing. I was also a Writer in Residence at the Mesa Refuge Writer's Retreat. I've devoted my life to writing and editing and understand just how difficult it can be to navigate the world of words. It's an honor and a privilege to guide people through any part of that process, from the early stages to the more advanced levels, and to help them hone their voice and craft a piece of writing that can effect the world the way they want it to. Nothing makes me happier than helping people find out just how easy and powerful writing and editing can be.
