Introduction: I teach classical, folk, blues / jazz, and other styles of piano music as decided with each individual student. My background is in those styles and I very much enjoy teaching classical, especially at intermediate and upper intermediate levels. I also enjoy teaching children. I have a BA in music from Berklee College of Music and have been teaching private lessons for many years. I also have a passion for songwriting, having released multiple albums of my own music and performed around the country. I take pride in teaching students who are dedicated, engaged, and interested and I work hard to inspire them, find music that is engaging and to have fun in the process. I look forward to hearing from you!

I love writing songs as well as sharing the gift of music through teaching! I enjoy working with students of all ages, especially young children who are just learning the language of music, and anyone with an interest in music as a tool for self-expression and creativity. Though learning music requires focus and dedication, I hope for my students to ultimately find joy and excitement in their learning and playing.
