- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I use a sliding scale model of $85-$125 for the first session (60-75 min) which includes a chart, recording and a follow up email with reflective prompts and key insights.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We can chat by email/phone or the client can fill out an intake form that helps me understand their interests and hopes for the reading. I also ask for birthday, place and time, so that I can access astrological data.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I use astrology everyday to do readings for clients and to help better understand myself and the world. My formal training includes a Master's Degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in an interdisciplinary field combining education, neuroscience, psychology and philosophy. I also have extensive training in somatics and mind-body therapies, including 13 years as a yoga instructor. I have studied adult development and personal development across disciplines, from Bob Keegan's Immunity to Change framework to my work as a firewalk facilitator, trained by Peggy Dylan at The Sundoor School of Transpersonal Education. I have spent multiple summers as seasonal faculty at the Omega Institute at Rhinebeck NY and currently teach graduate courses here in Portland. In addition to this training I am entering my third year as a formal student at the Portland School of Astrology , and I attend retreats, conferences and trainings 2-3x/season to continuously develop my own understanding of astrology.
