FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have worked with people who have used "sliding scale" for pricing, so I like to use that as well. Pricing is based on your income so no one is going broke trying to get lessons. I would say that lesson pricing can range from $25-$75 per lesson.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I would assess my student's level of previous experience in order to select the materials that I think will best help them continue with their training. Then I would work with them on monologues, scene work, songs, whichever it is they would like to work on. I can also use the internet to show them examples of what it is they are striving for while encouraging them to put their own spin on the material they are performing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Castleton University with a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Acting and Directing. In addition to my experience onstage, I have had experience directing as well, so I can help my students see more facets of their performance.
