- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I assess my fee based on the following: The amount of musical selections. The rehearsal schedule and event hours. Travel.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I request the date, time and locations of the events and confirm availability. I ask for a description of the event and for any particular requested music. I request contact information of the event coordinator including other musicians involved in the proceedings. (I am happy to give musical selection suggestions upon request and to refer accompanying musicians.)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in voice performance from Purchase and an MA from Columbia TC in Music Education. I have been performing and in vocal training from childhood. I am a music professor at several Hudson Valley Colleges and a private voice teacher. My connection to the working professional world of music is fluid and varied.
