Introduction: We specialize in private and corporate small events and we strive to add a personal and professional approach to ensure our customer’s happiness. I've been providing musical services for small parties and corporate events since 2001. I've been surrounded by music all my life. My father is a classically trained trombonist, my mother is a pianist and my brother played drums in his marching band in high school. I enjoy providing the music to help people celebrate, release and have a good time. My musical genre is expansive but I primarily specialize in Old School R&B/Hip Hop and Deep Soulful House. Most of my events range in the size of 50 to 100 people so it's an intimate crowd. Some of my events have included: Family Reunions, Adult and Teenage Birthday parties, College Homecomings, Corporate Events and Graduations.

Great DJ! I loved to constant communication, professionalism, and the jams! We don’t really have a dance crowd but we loved the music. It was the perfect mix and I loved it. I would hired again and again!

DJ KSmith was phenomenal! Super professional, punctual (always early), and his music selection was amazing. I can't say enough...he really got the party started and kept it going; he adjusted to things I wanted done during my party and was responsive to requests. And for such a high quality dj, his price was extremely reasonable! Hire him, you will be glad you did!

Mr. Smith was very professional. He was a master at moving the crowd and keeping guests on the dance floor. Our guests ranged from age 25 to 55 and DJ Smith played a broad mix of music from r&b old school, neo soul, and hip-hop to pop rock and p-funk. Thanks DJ Kwambe for making my husband’s 50th birthday party a smash hit!

K Smith responded to my request for DJ services for our family reunion with very short notice. He sent over a quote and a questionnaire to gather our expectations as far as music and DJ interaction with the crowd. He also asked what questions we had of him. He was very flexible and receptive to all our requests. On the morning of the reunion which was scheduled to start at 12 noon, I asked him to move up his start time by two hours. He made the necessary adjustment without hesitation that I could see. His team was warm and friendly. The music was good and his equipment worked well, producing clear and loud music. My family had a blast, largely due to K. Smith Entertainment. I'd gladly hire this gentleman again and strongly recommend him.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is customized for a specific event. Since all events are different I strongly believe in tailoring the price based upon what the client is looking for.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I desire a personal approach when working with my clients. I initially start off with a phone call or email communications to introduce myself and have a dialogue about what client needs are. Afterwards, once I have a full grasp of what the client wants, I schedule a face to face meeting to formalize what has been agreed upon.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been surrounded by music since I can remember. My father is a classically trained trombonist, my mother played piano and my brother played the drums and percussion in high school, college and in church. I like to think that I have a strong and mature ear for music and a firm understanding of beat matching, mixing, professionalism and showmanship.
