Introduction: Animal Reiki is something special, It allows the animals a chance to heal, whether it be a previous injury, abuse, emotional change, or just maintenance of a health mind. Being able to be apart of the healing process for the animals and their families is a big reason why I practice this work. Animals are truly our guardian angels without wings. The definition of Animal Reiki: Reiki is a hands-on healing method that originated in Japan. The practitioner channels healing energy through her hands to the animal through a light touch either directly on the body or from a distance. The word Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”) is a Japanese composite word usually translated as “universal life energy”.
