Introduction: **Lessons are 45 min** Ballroom dance has been a passion of mine from an early age. Since beginning instructing 6 years ago I've enjoyed teaching beginners to advanced level dancers of all ages. It's important for me to help others enjoy ballroom through learning basic steps, a variety of dances, lead and follow, and dancing to fun music. It is never too late to learn ballroom dance.

My wife and I were planning on taking a cruise. We've done several and always saw other couples out dancing especially on a formal night. I thought it would be more special and romantic if we could also be out there dancing. So, for Christmas I bought dance lessons to get ready for the cruise. I found Vashti on Thumbtack and wow, we really hit the jackpot. She is talented and a highly regarded dancer both nationally and internationally. She has won so many awards and competitions. What was also cool was she gave us private lessons so we didn't feel uncomfortable learning and practicing in front of a large crowd. Her teaching techniques were nicely customized for us and she had a lot of patience. Her fees were also amazing as I shopped around especially in light of her many accomplishments and honors. I totally would recommend her to anyone looking for any dance instruction from beginners to more advanced students. She's amazing! Oh, and the cruise was truly magical largely in part to the help we got from Vashti.

Lessons are 45 min. Contact Vashti to request prices for 60 min lessons.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Customers can request a 45 min or 60 min lesson after which we find a date and time that we can meet for the lesson. Customers can request a specific dance and song that they'd like to dance to (especially for wedding dances). Payment is collected after the lesson through cash, venmo, or check. Booking additional lessons can be done through text, or thumbtack chat.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been dancing competitively since I was 10 years old and training with a variety of top coaches in the United States and Europe. I lived in Denmark for 2 years training and competing. I've taught ballroom classes and private lessons at many studios.
