FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Please submit details of your project for a quote. All-inclusive rates are based on hours worked, editing time, travel time, use of equipment and materials. We offer a 30% discount to all 501(c)(3) non-profits and for our funeral videography services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After an initial email to see if we are the best qualified for what the client is looking for, I like to set-up a meeting or Google call so we can speak face-to-face and get to know each other and the project. We go over the basic wants and needs of the project including: examples of videos similar to what they are looking for, any creative elements, budget and time frame. From there we discuss how the filming process will go and what they can expect in our editing process. I believe a direct, thorough and open line of communication is key to any project's success.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a mix of formal training and of being self-taught. I went Vancouver Film School for six months of a year long program. Upon moving back to New York State, I took my remaining tuition money and invested in my business. I have participate in various workshops and have completed many of my own short films to hone certain aspects of my craft. As artists, we are always growing and learning.
