FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For smaller consultation projects, we typically provide a set fee for either 2 or 3 in-person meetings, along with time for design sketches, travel, and any research as well as creating a custom report of our recommendations. For larger projects, we still try to do a fixed fee, based on the complexity of the project and our overall involvement.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process is this: We set up an initial phone call to gather some basic information about your project; Next, we schedule an in-person consultation to go over your project and start our work; We gather additional information as needed, and provide you with a questionnaire for larger projects; Following that, we begin our design work, and schedule follow up meetings either in person or via email / web conferencing as appropriate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold graduate and undergraduate degrees in Architecture, and have over 20 years of experience as an architect. While I have completed projects of many types over those years, Residential Design has been a consistent part of my experience through my entire career. I enjoy working with clients to create or update spaces for living and working, and helping to find solutions to the clients' space issues.
