Introduction: I have been in the tax preparation business for more than seven years. I kept and increased client base over the years from 7 to 45 last year just by referrals and recommendations. Prior to this I too was a small business owner for 17 years --- started with two employees and finished with 35; Sales were in excess of $1.2 million when I closed this engineering/remediation company in 2000 and moved back to Sacramento. Because of Client Requests have expanded my tax business to include year round bookkeeping and report preparation for small business owners with special needs e,g, quarterly reports, sales tax filings, payroll as well as market/sales analyses, P&L Statements and ROI Reports for investors and capitalization schedules. Also adept in preparing financial documents necessary to win Bids and Small Business Contract Set-Asides. When I returned to Sacramento, started my Consulting Business which specialized in engineering studies and technical reports but grew to assistance with the day-to-day "paperwork" responsibilities for today's small emerging businesses. I earned my additional certifications in Tax Preparation and started a "seasonal" service for seniors and military veterans, However this "seasonal" effort has expanded into their friends, children and grandchildren. It has also provided a platform to provide "year round" services for several small businesses with special needs in the Sacramento area. At this stage in my life, it is wonderful to help people who appreciate and need my "hard-earned" experience. It is a real pleasure to "give-back".
