- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All events are custom priced. There are many factors that affect the price of the event such as guest count, type of event, and type of decor. It's always best to include inspiration pictures when asking for a quote.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Wedding Planning Certification from the Association of Bridal Consultants and a bachelor's degree in design and production from UMBC.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always loved gatherings. As a child I looked forward to holidays because it was one of the few times where I would get to spend time with my whole family. As I grew older I realized that I could help bring people together more often if there were more events for them to gather for. I began planning events in high school as an excuse to spend more time with my loved ones. I also served on the prom committee in high school. When I had my first child in 2009 his birthday parties started my portfolio then friends and family then began asking me to plan their events as well.
