FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer FREE consultations to provide a more accurate quote! Everyone's hair is different. Different texture, length, density, etc... And on top of that, no two people have the exact same history of hair color or previous services. Two people may look at the same picture and want the same thing, but because of their hair and history, it can be two completely different processes to attain the same result. That being said, keep in mind that my quotes can vary once you get in the chair depending on how much product is used. Sometimes it's more, but sometimes it's less! That is why I cannot stress a personal consultation enough. I can only be sure once I get my hands in your hair and discuss your starting point vs. your desired end result. *I do offer specials for first time clients! So PLEASE be sure to mention this special offer when you come into the salon for your first visit with me!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I take my time and take it easy. A lot of people have anxiety when they get their hair done. I am DEFINITELY one of those people. Because of that, I do my best to make sure my clients know they can trust that I will listen to them and that they can be honest with how they feel. The last thing I want is for you to say you love your hair and then cry in your car! I have done it, and it's an AWFUL feeling. My goal is to do my best to be honest and realistic in the consultation to make sure we are on the same page. Speaking and understanding the same hair language is a huge part in getting your desired result and finding the right match for you and your stylist.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a licensed cosmetologist in New Jersey since 2010 and just recently acquired my Pennsylvania license. I am big on education and am continually working on expanding my knowledge and understanding of my industry both from the business and hands on perspectives. I have attended multiple classes for different aspects of hair. Whether it's at the International Beauty Show watching multiple platform artists, or listening to Tabatha Coffey's inspiring speeches on integrity and getting back to the basics, staying up to date with trends is something I make a point to do. I have had several classes on keratin, balayage techniques, and understanding different color lines like TIGI, Keratin Complex, Wella and Matrix which I find important to help me provide my clients with the best service possible.
