FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons start at $100 per hour. Payment is due at the time service is rendered. Missed lessons with less than 24 hours notice will be charged a $75 dollar fee. (I'm willing to be flexible on a case by case basis for emergencies)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I will do a short free consultation when working with a new voice acting student. This allows me to determine your skill and experience level, determine how best I can be a great asset to your VO career, and to get to know you a bit better as a person!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been interested in acting and particularly voice acting as far back as I can remember. I got my first major role in a musical production when I was ten and kept going from there. In highschool I participated in competition acting, often winning highest or high marks for my age group. I began studying acting as an adult as a member of the Actor's Studio, a competitive program offered to promising actors in Lansing, MI. I have continued acting and coaching for the last 25 years. Voiceover has been my most recent passion. I love the fun (and challenge) of conveying an emotional response using only the power of the voice and couldn't imagine doing anything else!
