My parents benefit from healthily crafted foods, yet foods that feel familiar. Megan was able to confidently grasp this and deliver not only hearty soups and salads (plus more) but made with trusted ingredients as well. Megan is able to spot what she wants in a yard, market, or grocery store and create as she goes based on strong self-initiative, creativity, and her client's needs in mind. She understands where food comes from and knows plants expertly. Besides cooking, Megan Land is an 'Edible Ornamental Landscape Artist' and sketched a plan for my parent's yard that considered some of their old farm implements in the design. Quick thinking and smart, Megan is your person for a variety of healthful, beautiful, and quality-of-life concepts. I enjoyed both interaction with Megan, as well as what she delivered to our table and lives. Highly recommended.

I booked Chef Megan for my birthday party. We had a dinner in our home for our party of ten. Megan was prompt and professional. Everything she served looked and tasted great. She was flexible with the menu and gave me several options. We started off with the short rib appetizer and stuffed mushrooms which were amazing. Then we ambled over to the dining room for the soup course which was a gorgeous tomato soup made with local heirloom tomatoes and these crispy little rosemary croutons that I keep craving. For the main course she served the juiciest chicken full of flavor. It was coated in an herb mix and smoked, but the smoke flavor was mild. We had roasted baby potatoes that had a lemony taste that I haven't had before. We also had a salad and sauted fresh vegetables, which I thought were pretty good and my picky eater ate so they must have been good. Chef Megan takes care to make sure the flavors of the meal work together and I felt great knowing that the food was grown locally and fresh. For dessert she made banana upside down cake, which is new to me, but loved it. It was low glycemic and no gluten ( how, I have no idea. The taste was rich and sweet) I do know I didn't wake up puffy like usually do when I indulge in sweet cakes and treats. I will absolutely book Megan again in the future. I can't say how great our experience was. I loved having a delicious meal served up in our home where we could eat and visit at our leisure. Oh~ and the leftovers were boxed up and kitchen cleaned! It was a night to remember. Can't wait to use Chef Megan again.

Kitchen Garden Catering served my recent birthday party of 75 guests. It was easy to work with Megan on the menu with all the dietary restrictions we put on her. The food was fresh, inventive, and outstanding. My guests commented on it even after the event- that's the best sign. I highly recommend Kitchen Garden!

Megan provided a lovely vegan Italian meal for a family birthday party. The communication was very good and we appreciated her knowledge of the vegan diet that included protein and more than just pasta. The locally sourced ingredients were top notch.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try and keepmy prices reasonable. I think everyone deserves quality ingredients. We don't cut corners, however we can fit your budget by adjusting the menu. We value your dollar and strive to give you a good deal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a business owner for 15 years. Apprenticed under fine chefs, classes and studying techniques.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
