- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My piano tuning service is offered at a competitive price for the Reno, Nevada area. Any minor repairs are included in the cost of the tuning.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would like to get to know your piano! As much information you can provide about its current and past locations, moves and past tunings/repairs as well as sentimental value is very helpful.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I first apprenticed under another piano technician for nearly three years. I then was hired to tune, service and repair pianos for a local music store where I worked for four years. I attend ongoing professional development training and am also a graduate of Yamaha's rigorous training program in Buena Vista, California called the Little Red Schoolhouse. These experiences taught me to tune and service pianos with the highest quality, professional workmanship.
