It varies based on client and scope of work, skills required.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Phone or face to face meeting to assess needs and goals. Identify talent needed to get the job done. Submit proposal, proposal accepted, start date chosen. At the beginning of each month, goals and projects are determined in conference with client (usually by phone). Monthly retainer is paid at the beginning of each month, any unused budget rolls over to the next month. Client is invoiced at the close of each month for the next months retainer. With your invoice you get a list of tasks accomplished and time spent.
