Jason did a great job with our website. He listened and understood what we wanted and was able to add a lot of great ideas. We ended up with a website we really love. He was very accessible and was readily available as needed throughout the process. I would highly recommend him.Jul 17, 2017Verified

Q & A
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I offer three options to my customers, depending on their needs and budget. The first option is a revitalization of an existing website. I will look over the design and functionality of your website and create a proposal of how we can improve upon it. This could include new graphics and content, improvements for user interaction, responsive design, site loading time, etc. This is an inexpensive option for those who need to refresh and aging website. The next option will be to create a partially custom website. Customers can look over my other websites and decide on a template they like. I will customize this template with their logo, graphics, and content to create a new website based on an existing framework. Since this option involves minimal coding, it is a great option for new businesses who want a great website but don't need a completely new design. My third option is to create you an entirely new design from scratch. This is the most expensive and time-consuming option, but you will get a completely custom website where you are actively involved in the design process. This is a great option for businesses and individuals who want to stand out from other websites and competitors.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When I begin a new project, I first try to understand the overall vision of my customer and what they want to portray. To learn about their business and understand their brand I will review their existing social media, website, etc. I will present them with my plan of action and rough deadline for the work to be completed. Once I begin the actual development, I prefer to take a collaborative approach, involving my customer in the process as I move forward. I present them with designs and we go through revisions together until the customer is happy. Prior to launching a customer's website, I thoroughly check that the website is responsive and functioning nicely on different browsers and device types. I then walk the customer through the new website and help them to understand how to perform updates and maintenance. After a project is finished, I continue to follow up on the work to make sure it continues to function correctly and look great.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My degree is in Physics. While this is not directly related to web design, this background has given me a strong set of skills for learning and understanding new ideas. I am a self-taught web designer/developer and have been creating websites and studying web development for over 20 years.
