FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $15/hr for labor + materials and I work very quickly. I try to prepare beforehand with sketches and references as much as possible so as not to spend so much time at the actual job site preparing. I would rather be painting, this way you get the most out of your money and your time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I offer a free in-person consultation and through sketches, rough drafts, and example images, you can be sure you are getting what you want. Then, I will draw up a contract with the appropriate information once we have decided on the design and dimensions of the design. Next, I begin sketching on the wall or canvas and will soon show you the design before putting any paint down. I work in multiple layers, assuring the best quality and coverage. For lessons, we must begin with the basics of course. Color, line, and shape. Then shading and proportion to understand dimensionality. This works for all age groups, but the level of difficulty will vary for each, of course. Each class increases in difficulty and will challenge you or your child's creative abilities. All the while, having tons of fun! As art should be.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
