Bob did a great job doing minor repairs to our townhouse that we are putting up for rent. He was extremely flexible, understood the importance of our timeline, and facilitated solutions. Because he wasn't able to come at the originally scheduled time he sacrificed time with his family on Thanksgiving Day and came to do the work. He took pictures of the completed projects. We strongly recommend him and would definitely use him again.

I hired them to clean paint off of old brick columns...it turned out to be more of a project that either of us thought but they persevered and got it done. I'm very happy with the outcome & would recommend them.

Hired on Thumbtack

Absolutely terrible. I love thumbtack and have never had a problem up until now. I needed work done on a house we are closing on at the end of March. The buyers and I agreed on what things needed to be fixed. Most of it was wood rot (10 spots) mostly small places and a couple larger areas (8ft). Other things included replacing outside faucet, fixing a few panels on gate and laying plastic down in crawl space. He quoted me $950. I sent him a list with pictures from inspection. Deadline was set for the 17th. He did not meet his deadline and most of the communication went in one ear and out the other. He finished his job on the 22nd. I asked for an itemized receipt. I got an email saying what he did, a few things he charged me for without asking permission, and a couple things were made up. He called me after I had texted him my concerns about the receipt. He called me and spoke to me as if I were a child. Here's the issue I had. He initially quoted me $950, on the receipt he quotes me 1,410.00. How did this happen? He charged me $80 to sand down an area that had been patched. I still don't know what the rest is for. He hung the phone up on me and refused to answer my calls. Now, I will likely be in a court because I refuse to pay him for made up work. I will be taking him to court for damages due to not closing on my house as well as an incorrect and fabricated bill of sale. Please, believe me when I say that this man is not to be trusted. He is the epitome of unproffesionalism and lacks integrity and respect. Beware.
