Introduction: Hi! I created Organize and Style Me to help others make their house into a HOME To help others achieve: organization, functionality, tranquility and beauty in their home. Having a background in social psychology, a real estate license and a passion for organization and styling spaces, it was clearly a no brainer. I have about 20 years experience in organizing and re-design. Today's lives are hectic but if we can organize the home so that it functions to one's lifestyle then we can achieve a more tranquil environment. This is not only crucial to our overall well being but it just makes the daily grind of life that much simpler. I have a minimalistic approach to the style of spaces. Too much "stuff" clogs our mind and doesn't allow us to properly focus. Minimizing is crucial to the organization process, once we can minimize our belongings, we can organize and then we can get to the fun part, styling or re-design. I try to use the pieces that are already in the home to stat within a budget and not create more "stuff", however sometimes shopping is essential. I can help you with that too! The upside-down reality of my room and closet overwhelmed me after they were flooded from the apartment above. I'd just had back surgery and was unable to move much at all. Things were in complete disarray after the work crew left. Christine was a godsend. She arrived with an uplifting "dig in" attitude and we set to work. First,we sifted through things which needed to be hauled out due to flood damage. Then began the part that always eludes me, weeding out the remaining items and clothes between keep, throw and donate. What made this process easier was her encouragement and warm trustworthy nature. She wasn't there to make me feel guilty over my lack of discipline or force me to part with things unnecessarily. We worked well together as she gave me tips and encouraged me to purge but never judged what I kept. "If an item makes you happy, it's a keep," she said. Knowing that it's OK to keep things despite not being able to explain why I needed them made it easier to purge many more items than I'd expected. We made great progress and what made me particularly thrilled was that she took care of the most difficult part that I encounter - the immediate follow through of donation and disposal. I was thrilled with what we accomplished and will hire her again without doubt.

Had to cx last minute because she was sick (which is fine, that happens). Never recontacted me to reschedule & did not respond when I emailed her asking to reschedule.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have standard pricing- it is per the hour; $50 per hour to organize and $70 per hour to style. If someone wants a maintenance plan for organizing we can do package pricing.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to speak with my client on the phone first to gain an understanding of what their needs are. If we seem to be a good match, we then schedule to begin the work or schedule for me to meet the homeowner and spaces for the most accurate assessment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in Real Estate for 15 years and this has given me a ton of experience in organizing and staging. I have also been doing it informally for myself and friends since I was about 10 years old!
