Hired on Thumbtack

I contacted this pro on December 2, they quoted me a price, we agreed and I asked them to let me know when they could do the job. They said they would check their schedule for the week and let me know when they could schedule my job in. Then I never heard from anyone.... Two weeks later I had to msg them to see if they could still do the job. I was told they were out of town and would be back before the weekend. Then again no communication. I have msgd them twice since then to ask if they are even interested and nothing...If they didn’t want to do the job after quoting me they should have just let me know... guess it’s back to searching for someone to re hang a shutter.. if anyone know a pro who want to take on a small less than $100 job let me know.. FYI - Have had a hard time overall with Thumbtack in general. If you have a small job like re anchoring one shutter no one wants to take it. Apparently these pros get charged $20 by thumbtack just for sending you and initial msg to quote your job. Had one pro (Not Legacy) yell at me for telling him $300 was too money for this job. Then he told me that he was charged $20 by thumbtack for just responding to my request.

Our prices are based on individual window treatment, whether it is for installation, cleaning or repairs. We do offer discount for large jobs, Military, and First Responders.

Speak with the customer, and get a thorough understanding of what they needs are. Schedule an appointment if needed. Make sure the customer understands the process, and answer any questions they might have.
