Introduction: Since 2008 my piano studio has distinguished reputation among music experts and students due to the unique style and methods of teaching. I encourage students to explore music far beyond learning to read notes, developing their skills to listen for nuances in sound and making sure that playing piano is fun and enjoyable. I provide a program which is the most suitable for each individual student. I teach students to different aspects of playing piano with the technical and mental challenges of making piano sing.

When I first started taking lessons with Philipp, I did not know anything about the piano but I always knew that I wanted to learn. Philipp is very patient and well knowledged about the piano. I learned about its history, how to read music, and about the various different composers in classical music in just a few weeks! I am so happy to have him as a teacher, I definitely recommend him to everyone!

I first approached Philip seeking lessons for myself. I am a 38 year-old man father of 2.
I found him to be not only personable and dedicated professional but also an incredibly gifted pianist, who has a clear drive to teach and inspire his students.
His teaching style has a pleasant flow. He is now the piano teacher for my kids as well (10 and 8 year old boys). I would recommend him as a teacher to anyone looking to enrich their lives with beautiful music.
I am so happy to know that thanks to Philip, my kids now have a very solid foundation in piano, and are continuing to further their musical experience in case they want to pursue piano or music as a career in the future.

Both of my kids love their lessons with Mr Petkov ,they advance much faster then with our previous teacher , professional and individual approach to each kid makes those lessons very productive. We are happy to have Mr Petkov as a piano teacher !

Philipp is the most dedicated teacher I ever had. He is very knowledgeable, focused and patient. He makes learning fun and interesting. I was able to play the whole song "Fur Elise" by Beethoven after 5 lessons. I really enjoy his classes and his personality is the best.
