FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process I employ is consultation and implementation. I listen to the needs, concerns, comfort level and goals of my clients. I do my best to translate those needs and concerns into a specifically designed session that sets out to address that persons areas of growth and healing.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I came to be a professional in alternative healing and massage therapy through a sports injury as a young adult. A program of regular therapies was prescribed for me by my most progressive coach, at the time, who believed in the power of alternate healing therapies (Shiatsu & Aruvedic Yoga among them). It was a success! It increased not only my flexibility but also my perspective and approach to performance that I also learned to couple with maintenance and self care that I employ as much as possible to this day. An integrative approach is necessary and valuable to me always. Now, my clients benefit from that practice through my touch.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I enjoy working with all kinds of people across the spectrum of massage. I have worked with the pregnant wife, the Professional, the Athlete, the student, less than active individuals who just simply need to feel good, those with chronic ailments, stressed and pressed - not to mention, my contemporaries who respect my practice. It's all an honor and a passion I love to cultivate!
