Introduction: Many lesson studios focus primarily on teaching single instruments to their students. I’m entirely happy to do this for a student if that’s truly what they want, but I find that that’s the case less and less these days. What people usually are interested in is making music, and I aim to give them the skills to that in whatever way they want. Interested in rock? Cool, we’ll play guitar. But we’ll also play a little bass, maybe a little drums and keys too. Hip hop your thing? We’ll go over how to use drum machines and synths, samplers, music theory... Whatever your musical goals are, I’m certain I can help you get closer to them. I still remember, before the 15+ years of playing and 2 college degrees, when everything about making music felt like magic. I take a lot of pride in my ability to reproduce that feeling in students of all ages.
