What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer the customer the option of making material purchases themselves with guidance and list of required items. This option saves them money for the project. I give a 20% discount on future work if they refer me to others and that work is performed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Prefer an in person meeting / walk around the area that is requiring the work. I always prefer meeting, even if I am not selected for the job, I enjoy meeting people and discussing their goals for the project.
