Introduction: I have had a diverse background in photography. I grew up, went to photo school and started working as a photographer in Los Angeles. I had the opportunity to work with several photographers and learn their craft. From product advertising, architectural, and motorsports action. I have enjoyed the array of style and technique unique to each. All that to say LIGHTING is the key to all,and I still love to learn about lighting. Lighting is the essence of photography, and whether it's a landscape or an interior of a home, it needs to look natural, and aesthetically pleasing. I strive to make each image look great, natural and appealing by blending light sources. I don't care much for the HDR look, I think it looks fake. I much more prefer to take little more time at the location light it correctly and be done. Now I am also doing commercial drone photography and videography. I am FAA certified- part 107, NC DOT/ aviation UAS certified and fully insured. Since I first picked up an SLR camera when I was 15, I have loved taking pictures. The process of looking thru the lens, visualizing an image and then making it come to life, in the darkroom then, now on a computer, was and is still so exciting and challenging. Visual success is very rewarding.
