Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I have done photography for 15 years and traveled all over the country shooting weddings, sports, and Hollywood events-You may recognize a few actors in my portfolio- and now I've settled down in St. Louis, Mo. (on purpose too!) I started photography back when film was still used and I've been able to integrate traditional knowledge into modern art. I am especially proud of my flash technique that I am known for which allows my images to be well lit but not have the 'traditional' harsh flash look that so many people hate! Due to my drive to understanding photographic technique, my work as appeared in advertisements, the Internet Movie Database, and an Adobe book. Telling people's story through images to provide memories for a lifetime. I especially remember looking through my parents wedding album and seeing the story spread out over the pages. Whenever I prep for a shoot, whether weddings, family or seniors (but not commercial...that's a tad different), that's my driving force. Let me tell your story!

We could not be happier with our choice of having the DAVID team cover both videography and photography for our big day. They were super sweet, professional, understanding, supportive, fun, patient, creative and TALENTED!! I'm sure I'm missing a few different words to describe them, but I think you get it, they're AWESOME! We were so happy with our pictures and even happier with how creative they got with the editing for our video, it was everything we were hoping for (and more)! Thank you DAVID and the team for capturing the most special day of our lives! So happy we get to relive the memories over and over again! Belle

David has captured some of my most favorite pictures of my children and several of them are framed at home. He captured their personality perfectly and was very patient with them while doing so.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Professional Athletes, Television actors, Families, Commercial clients.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

This will sound odd, but ask them if they are willing to give you a demonstration of their camera abilities and flash abilities. Unfortunately, many photographers claim to be "natural light photographers" and that they prefer not to use flash. The truth is that flash takes a lot of time to learn and many photographers are not willing to do it. They end up taking under exposed images and then boosting them up in Photoshop. The problem is that the overall quality of the image is then reduced, and the image will look grainy. I have a firm belief that if a photographer is willing to charge over a thousand dollars for a wedding, they ought to know how to do the job.
