- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
This will sound odd, but ask them if they are willing to give you a demonstration of their camera abilities and flash abilities. Unfortunately, many photographers claim to be "natural light photographers" and that they prefer not to use flash. The truth is that flash takes a lot of time to learn and many photographers are not willing to do it. They end up taking under exposed images and then boosting them up in Photoshop. The problem is that the overall quality of the image is then reduced, and the image will look grainy. I have a firm belief that if a photographer is willing to charge over a thousand dollars for a wedding, they ought to know how to do the job.
