FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Military discounts of 15% are always available. Anyone referring someone who books with us will receive a discount or refund of 10%. Depending on the event, a 25% non-refundable deposit will be required to book an event. Images By Eichling retains the rights to the photos for use in displays and advertising.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a client contacts us about booking with us, I will meet with the client at least once and likely two or three times. This may be via email or chat, via phone, and face to face. A list of special attendees at the event and key things to photograph will be made and approved by the client. This will all be accomplished no later than 48 hours before the event. Within a week after the event, the client will receive the digital photos. If prints are requested, there will be an additional charge to cover the cost, as well as additional time for prints to be done and prepared for delivery to the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained as a Photojournalist in Fort Lauderdale, FL, while working for the Fort Lauderdale News / Sun-Sentinel and the (now defunct) Hollywood Sun-Tattler Newspapers. I was also a 'stringer' working freelance for the AP and UPI wire services. Joining the Navy in 1980, I then attended the Navy Biomedical Photography Technician School and graduated at the top of my class. Several years later, I was assigned as the Senior Instructor and Department Head for the school. During this time, I completed the national certification as a Registered Biological Photographer through the Biocommunications Association. I went on then to serve as the Practical Exam Coordinator for the Board of Registry as well as the Director for Communications on the Board of Governorsl
