FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
IRL has pricing ranges for specific services. We don't have a standard pricing system as each project we take on has different needs, specific functions, and purposes. Please, contact us to learn more about our pricing for your needs (don't hesitate)!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step .01 | Q + A We set up a phone or Skype call meeting with you so we can get to know you, and you can get to know us. Goal | To better understand what your design project, your hopes, and goals. Of course, to build a relationship with you! Step .02 | Set the Mood We ask you to create a mood board of what you want your finished design to embody. The theme of your design, the colors you want to be used, and your preferred design style (i.e. minimal, contemporary, etc). Creating a mood board is fun, promise! It'll help us—help you. Mood boards are essential as it gives our team the visual aid necessary to design the project of your dreams. Step .03 | Draw it Out Arguably IRL's favorite step; we love to challenge our clients to sketch their dream design project onto a piece of paper. Tap into your inner Picasso, and let your creativity shine through. Why do we ask you to draw out how you envision your design project? Simple. So we can design what you want, not what we want. Design should be personal, and specific to each and every client we work with. For the sake of authenticity! Originality, too. Step .04 | Design Finally, the moment you've been waiting for: designing your project. The fourth and last step of our design process can last anywhere from one to six months depending on your specific project. It'll be fun—sometimes difficult, but nonetheless rewarding. The finale of the project will leave you and our team budding with excitement, because together we created something awesome. Are you ready to join us?
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
The founding team of IRL found design to become lackluster—produced without character or personality. IRL was curated to fill that void, and here we are today :).
