- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on several factors. How many hours, time/day of performance, driving distance, etc. I am always glad to work with you to match pricing to your exact needs, so feel free to contact me to discuss!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing is to try and determine what the details of the engagement are. I always like to speak directly with a client, not only about things like time, place, and price, but also about the music they want presented, as well as the "tone" they want for their party. Since I can draw on a list of over 130 songs, both solo with guitar and with full band backing, I can usually customize my performance to be what you want for you and your guests. Also, I'm not just a musician and singer, I'm an entertainer - I talk to the audience and engage them if they want me to. I will also take requests, as I can do many more songs than just the ones on my list.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing and performing professionally for a living since age 16. I have studied music with several well-known teachers in NY, and have over 25 years of professional experience performing, singing, and playing. I prepare all backing tracks myself in the studio. I have been recording and producing records for over 25 years, and have worked with many well-known performers, both playing/singing and recording/producing. So my backing tracks feature the sound of a real live band playing behind me.
