Reverend Elsa Anders Cook

Introduction: The Rev. Cook has been officiating weddings and funerals since 2006, with a variety of experience both within and outside of church settings. When it comes to weddings, Elsa takes time to get to know each couple. She pays special attention about their vision for their day and helps to create a ceremony that reflects the unique personality and style of each couple. Ordained in the United Church of Christ, a progressive denomination that affirms and blesses LGBTQ couples, she is eager to work with couples to include their family and friends in meaningful ways that enhance their covenant promises. She hopes to provide a beautiful, meaningful celebration for every couple so that it's not just the party that gets talked about later, but how wonderful the ceremony was. It's hard not to love love and even harder not to relish in the joy of watching two people commit to such an amazing promise. I count myself lucky to be ordained in a tradition that allows me to affirm and bless the many ways that love is made known. I love crafting original prayers and rituals to highlight what we all hope married love will be. It would be my joy to work with you.
