Sept 28, 2016 - within minutes of getting Jose's info, I contacted him and he made arrangements to come for an estimate on replacing 95' of privacy fence and a gate. We gave him a deposit on Thursday, the materials were delivered Friday and he and his wife, Rosa, began work on Saturday. They disassembled the old fence and set the new posts before leaving for the evening. Sunday they returned and worked until they had to stop for lightening and heavy rain. Monday morning between 2:30 and 7:15 we received another 3 inches of rain but they returned at noon and completed the job by 5 pm. Tuesday they returned to remove all the old fencing. Their work was excellent and the two of them were professional, personable, prompt and hard working. This was a pleasant experience and we enjoyed working with Jose and Rosa. We have already recommended them to a friend needing a fence.

We were unhappy with the spacing around the gate of the new fence he erected. Jose said that this was normal, but if we did not like it, he would come back to adjust it. I offered to pay for this because he said he had done his "normal" job. He said that would not be necessary; he "wanted us to be satisfied with the job and he would return and fix it the way we wanted". We shook hands on this. That was over two weeks ago and he has not called or come back. I did not pursue this because I do not think it is right that I have to call him to remind him of what he promised. He also left some debris around the fence. I am disappointed that he did not keep his word; in business, that is so important. I have had a couple of neighbors ask who did our fence; most of it looks OK. I told them I would not recommend Jose because he did not keep his word and did not totally complete the job. He may call me and come complete it if he wants, but I am not expecting that.
