Sam was recommended by a friend as a go-to guy for a speeding ticket my mom got on New Years Eve speeding through 19th Avenue (and I mean really speeding). He picked up the phone right away and was able to calm her down, which is a close to impossible job in itself. Sam explained what she can expect and went over the steps that he will take to ensure her record won't be impacted. He talked to us about his experience as a criminal defense attorney specializing in DUI law and how that experience will play to our advantage because he is known in the court room and is comfortable being aggressive on behalf of his clients. I myself have gone to attorneys in San Francisco and San Mateo counties for prior traffic violations, paid money, but never actually had the attorney himself take the time to speak with me. And even then, after paying the fee,I had to be the one following up on the progress of my case. Its been 2 weeks and Sam has already checking in with my mom twice! We are very happy with the service and level of communication we have received thus far, and I am hoping Sam can get my moms case dismissed. I can tell Sam is a true advocate for his clients and if I ever found myself in real trouble, I would want a criminal defense attorney of Sams caliber on my side!

I contacted my lawyer about a new case because he was incredible. He said he's no longer working and recommended I talk to Sam. He knew Sam from court in SF and that he's really good. I reached out to Sam and said I was referred to him for my case. He wasn't able to talk and said he'd call me back. He called me back and we set up a time to meet the next day. He asked me a few questions about my case so he could prepare. His office was very welcoming and professional. We sat in a conference room, he had everything ready. We went over the evidence and he put everything on the white board. Then took a picture and he erased everything. He then wrote out the best case and worst case scenarios on the board. He put down everything that could be done on my case before every going to trial. He let me take a picture of it so that when he updated me, I was able to refer to it. He asked me what I want, a fast resolution or to fight. I told him I want to fight. As time passed, he started slowly filing things that he said were available. Some went our way and some didn't. But he kept fighting and I respect that. 8 months later the my case was dismissed on the day of trial!!! I never expected this and this wasn't promised to me. If you're looking for a criminal lawyer, you should call Sam. You'll get a peace of mind that someone isn't just taking your money, but he's always there for you, you can text call at any time, and each time something happens, he lets you know. Sometimes he even called just to see how I'm doing. Hopefully I won't need him again. But I call again if I ever do. Thank you Sam.

I couldnt be more happier with how Sam and Haitham handled my DUI. After a stupid night of drinking, I decided to drive and I was pulled over by the police. In the end, I was arrested for a second DUI. The case took over a year to resolve. I had employment and immigration consequences that I was dealing with. I came to court on the day of trial and the prosecutor starting lowering their offer just to resolve the case. My first DUI was in Ohio a few years ago. After doing their diligent research into Ohio law, it became clear that a DUI in Ohio doesnt count as a DUI in California. They filed a motion and the judge actually granted it. In the end, I didnt receive a second DUI. I didnt have to do an 18 month DUI school and my license wasnt suspended for 2 years.These guys are great. They are always on time, reliable, answer their phones, and fight fight fight!

I have a close friend that recently used Gellar law. We worked with Sam specifically and could not have had a better experience. Sam is an incredible criminal law defense attorney who was able to get my friend out of a terrible DUI case. Sam was fair, understanding, and really went to bat for us. He didnt quit until my friends charges were completely dropped and he wouldnt let the DA or police take advantage of my friend who spoke English as a second language and didnt understand the court system. I would strongly recommend Gellar Law as the best lawyer you can find in San Francisco for criminal defense. About 6 months ago I was dealing with some criminal trouble. I reached out to Sam after someone referred him. We spoke on the phone and he made me feel comfortable despite the situation. I cannot really go into detail, but this was my first time being in trouble in my life. Sam walked me through how the criminal system works, explained what to expect. I have to say, everything happened exactly how he explained it. His work is very transparent. He let me look at the police report and everything else that was included. He explained to me all my options and any consequence of whatever choice Id made. He responds to texts, emails, calls almost immediately.
