- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on the project, I may charge an hourly rate, or instead agree upon a fixed price for the whole project. I like to provide this level of flexibility to provide more accommodating options for clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depending on the scope of the project, I like to review the background of the client's company and the project prior to a call - I like to prepare as much as possible before meeting. Then chat in person or remote to understand the problem and discuss solutions (sometimes it's straightforward, sometimes I can provide advice from experience). Then I usually share a plan of action, and provide regular updates (via email, or regularly scheduled meetings if the client prefers). I'm flexible with any client's preferences, but at a high level, I like to do my homework before taking a client's time, and communicate well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Computer Science degree and MBA from top tier schools, so I understand Product, Strategy, and am highly technical. I also have extensive experience in Product Development at successful companies, and a wide range of experiences working with hundreds of customers and partners one on one.
